In 2007, the Studying Law Project surveyed the commencing LLB student cohort. The same survey was administered to the commencing JD cohort in 2008, to build an accurate and detailed picture of the different cohorts’ attitudes towards their studies and their expectations of their respective courses.
The findings of these surveys will be correlated with student characteristics including age, gender, previous degrees and nationality. Differences between undergraduate and graduate cohorts will be identified as part of the study. The results will be used by the Faculty to continually improve the student experiences of both the LLB and JD cohorts.
